Description: In 2014 ICF began supporting the development of the covered activity layer. At this time the majority of the effort to define the extent of various covered activities had already occurred. This work was performed by Neuvert GIS Services, LLC. ICF was tasked with advancing the covered activity layers in two areas:Standardize the covered activity layer so that it was consistent with a covered activity table that had been developed outside the GIS environment. Because the two datasets were developed somewhat independently the acreages and attribute fields between the two did not match. ICF worked with Petrea Marchand, Marcus Neuvert, Ellen Berryman, and Heidi Tschudin to perform the standardization.Make changes to the polygons represented in the covered activity layer through adding, deleting and adjusting boundaries and attribute fields. Changes made include:Added additional County Road O&M.Added Yolo County Flood Control & Water Conservation District canals (50’ wide).Added Reclamation District boundaries.Removed Clark-Ramos parcel.Added additional bike paths (25’ wide)Removed area along Churchill Downs Avenue from layer.Updated polygons in Woodland Regional Park.Removed Winters Growth Boundary ExpansionRemoved portions of West Sacramento General Plan DevelopmentRemoved portion of Netherlands Reclamation District.

Description: The California Conservation Easement Database (CCED) contains data about conservation easement lands. Lands are under easement with governments, non-profits and private entities. Easement types include conservation, agricultural, forest, and home owner association protected areas. Utility, right-of-way, and other maintenance easements are not included. Data includes all known easements in California. Easements are typically defined by the entire parcel, though easements typically only cover a portion of the parcel. Data is known to be incomplete and include errors. Data has been compiled from existing datasets and thus accuracy varies greatly between areas.
